Elise Silva, who started in salsa and Latin dance, has been b-girling since 2007, and discovered waacking and house in New York that same year, teaches the fundamentals of waacking for beginners. Expect the arms, the poses, and the disco-rooted attitude of the form, broken down by a dancer who has been studying and teaching it for years. It goes down at Mi Chantli, Boulder's artist-run Art and Movement Sanctuary on 30th Street. Come whip, pose, and play.
