Vive Latino, Denver's recurring Latin night series, marks Colombian Independence Day with a full night of salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, and vallenato at Ophelia's Electric Soapbox. DJ Javi makes the trip from Cali, Colombia, the city widely credited as the world's salsa capital, to run the floor. Ophelia's is a multilevel live music venue in the RiNo corridor that has hosted national and local acts across genres, and Vive Latino has been producing authentic Latin nights in the region since 2019. The night is pitched to Denver's broader Latin community as a place to wave the Colombian flag alongside friends and dance through the classics.
