QTs & Cuties Comedy Open Mic at Fiction Beer Company
Repeats monthly on the first Wednesday 路 7:00 PM MT 路 3 dates
About this experience
Mercy Hawkins started QTs & Cuties in January 2026 to give Denver comics who are queer, trans, or women a room where they feel safe and seen. The series has played The Pearl, Alamo Drafthouse, and Fiction Beer Company, and Fiction now hosts it on the first Wednesday of every month. Comics sign up at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 7 PM. Anyone can come to watch, and anyone who respects the space is welcome. Every comic hears the house expectation before going up: punchlines land better when everyone in the room feels safe. Expect new material, first-timers finding their voice, and regulars working out bits. Fiction Beer Company is a book-themed taproom on East Colfax. Order a beer, find a seat, and cheer on the comics building a scene Denver has been missing. Admission is free.
What makes it unique
A free monthly open mic that centers queer, trans, and women comics, with a house rule every comic hears before taking the stage.
