About this experience
The Cat's Glasses, a Denver band led by trombonist and composer Jon Gauer, takes the stage at Dazzle in Denver on November 2 at 6:30 pm. These Creators bend genres on purpose: they mix jazz fusion, funk and blues, then pull in ideas from jam bands, neo-soul and classic rock. Eight players fill out the lineup with horns, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums. Joining Gauer are Jeremy Wendelin, Jake Syrenne, Gabriel Mervine, Ben Parrish, Tyler Treadway, Patrick McDevitt and Rowan Woodbury, who together give the songs room to stretch and shift between styles. The show suits Guests who like jazz that leans into funk and blues, and rock or jam fans who want to hear a large band trade parts and build grooves together. Tickets start at $22.27 and are sold through the Dazzle website, so plan ahead and pick yours up before the night.
