FreeFarm returns to a private barn in Elizabeth, Colorado for its second year, running August 21-23 as a three-day camping festival about an hour outside Denver. The lineup spans 14 acts across a range of indie and alternative sounds, headlined by Cherokee Social and Young & Dead, with supporting sets from Bitstream Bleed, Half Moon, Lone Artois, and more. Beyond the music, the weekend includes a fashion show open to local models and designers, DJ sets, workshops, and intentional gathering spaces, all run through a custom sound system inside the barn. FreeFarm is put on by the same crew behind year one, positioning it as a grassroots community event built around what they call the genreless lovers.

The inaugural Atom Jazz Fest brings three days of live jazz to the Left Hand Brewing Garden in Longmont, with a lineup that spans student ensembles and Front Range professionals alongside nationally touring acts. Headlining performances come from the Ken Walker Tribute Sextet and Electric Giz, with sets from the Health Walton Quintet, Adam Bodine Quartet, Stafford Hunter Quintet, Alex Loran Sextet, Guerrilla Fanfare, Deborah Stafford Swingtet, and more than a dozen other groups. The Atom Jazz Network, a Northern Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit, produces the festival as a direct investment in regional jazz education, mentorship, and gig opportunities for emerging musicians. Admission is free and the event is open to all ages.

Denver PorchFest turns the Baker neighborhood into a walkable, all-day music festival on October 3rd.
