About this experience
DJ Alisha B and Mic Crenshaw set the tone for the R&B Summit Kickoff, a free evening that opens the Resist and Build Conference. The conference runs October 15 to 18, and this night starts it off with live music at Colorado People's Center in Denver. Come to hear DJ Alisha B on the decks and Mic Crenshaw on the mic, and stay to meet other leftists gathering for the days ahead. The evening suits people attending the conference, people curious about it, and anyone in Denver who wants a night of hip-hop in the company of fellow leftists. The music starts Thursday, October 15 at 6:30 pm, and entry costs nothing. The organizers have not announced an end time, so plan to arrive early and settle in. Bring friends who care about organizing, introduce yourself to the people around you, and let the music carry the conversation into the conference that follows.
